Mexico

Program(s)

Mexico's warm weather, natural features and friendly people make it a common destination for vacationers looking for adventure or relaxation.  While all of these factors may have enough allure, often underappreciated is the "other Mexico"- that of rich traditions, historical sites and a unique blend of old and new.

Intern and study programs are based in the historic city of Oaxaca and the surrounding communities. Oaxaca offers an extraordinary array of cultural activities and serves as a logistical base for international students and travelers.  Bustling markets, spontaneous live music, and the friendly locals make Oaxaca a place to live and not just see.

However, the aesthetic appeal is quite strong too and one look at the cobbled streets, shaded squares, colonial churches and surrounding mountains and it is clear why Oaxaca is a UNESO World Heritage Site.  Pre-Columbian archaeological sites provide a glimpse into the rich history and traditions that continue to be a part of Oaxacan life.

Intern or study in the sunny spring-like climate of Oaxaca anytime of the year largely due to its elevation at 5,000 ft.
