Imagine your classroom this summer being a cruise ship in the Mediterranean or your class meeting that morning at the Acropolis in Athens. This program will take you to all of the top sites in Italy and Greece. Marvel at the breathtaking ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, view the excavated ruins of Pompeii and cruise the Aegean sea with stops on the beautiful Greek Isles and even Ephesus, Turkey.

6 course credits – Students can satisfy their Humanities credit and earn a total of 6 credits on this program by taking a second course in Communications. All majors are encouraged to apply.

HUM 389. The Golden Age of Italy and Greece

This is an interdisciplinary course that examines the art, architecture, philosophy, literature and music of the ancients with onsite field study and visits to archeological sites.
