Spend part of your summer touring historical sites such as the Coliseum and the Vatican in Rome, follow the coastline of Italy to Pompeii and then head to Greece and walk through ancient ruins before finishing off your journey on a 4-day Mediterranean cruise.
Imagine your classroom this summer being a cruise ship in the Mediterranean or your class meeting that morning at the Acropolis in Athens. This program will take you to all of the top sites in Italy and Greece. Marvel at the breathtaking ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, view the excavated ruins of Pompeii and cruise the Aegean sea with stops on the beautiful Greek Isles and even Ephesus, Turkey.
Three countries – Spend part of your summer abroad and pick up a few stamps in your passport. This journey will take you to Italy, Greece and a day stop in Turkey. The perfect classroom setting for a summer course!
4-day Greek Isles cruise – This is the only JU class that actually holds class on a cruise ship, and it doesn't come around every year. This popular program fills up, so put down your deposit early and start shopping for your bathing suit now.
6 course credits – Students can satisfy their Humanities credit and earn a total of 6 credits on this program by taking a second course in Communications. All majors are encouraged to apply.
