Want to see what culture in the United Kingdom has to offer beyond "The Office", punk rock, and plaid kilts? Then capture the true British student experience while living and studying in the heart of London. Located in the cosmopolitan metropolis of London, Middlesex University will be your new home for a semester. Spend your weekends at the various outdoor markets, shop Oxford Street, or see a theatre performance in the West End District. Meet up with friends in Covent Gardens for dinner, relax in one of London’s fantastic parks and immerse yourself in British culture - all while fulfilling courses towards your U.S. degree and taking courses with local and international students. More than 5,500 international students are on campus each year. Come be a part of the experience so many have come to love!
The campuses are sure to impress and the social atmosphere will certainly make students from both small and large U.S. universities alike feel fully integrated. While based at a larger metropolitan campus, the program allows for U.S. students to engage in social clubs, athletics, and with other international students. While the large international student presence makes for a great mixing scene, students can expect regular interactions with the hospitable British students through studying, socializing and living alongside them. Three campuses on London's north side house different academic programs and vary from modern and urban to a country-like setting surrounded by lakes and trees.
Whether you’re into the arts, sports, film, shopping, literature or music, you'll find all you need to be entertained on campus and in your immediate surroundings. On campus you'll find comedy events, pub quizzes, dance classes, and large open spaces to clear your mind and just chill out after a hard day. Take a stroll to your residence or just beyond to find yourself in one of London's many distinct neighborhoods with its own character. But don’t follow the crowds to the obvious places – some of London’s best venues are hidden. Why not find a bar, coffee shop or club and it make it yours for the semester?
Housing is all located near the London campuses in self-catered shared facilities with internet connection. Shared bathrooms and kitchens are available and most dormitories have access to laundry facilities and student lounges.
