Spend 4 weeks traveling in Australia while gaining college credit! The Australian Experience—Great Barrier Reef gives you an in-depth understanding of the Australian way of life by combining classroom study with fieldwork, including visits to the coastal, marine, and rainforest parks of eastern Queensland.
A surfing and snorkeling paradise – Queensland has some of the best surfing in the world, the Great Barrier Reef is known for its accessible and beautiful coral reefs, and the weather is warm and sunny year-round.
Practical, experiential learning – Via your on-campus experience and travel in Queensland, you will gain firsthand knowledge of Australia’s unique marine biology and of how to manage ecologically vulnerable areas.
Travel to World Heritage sites – As part of the program, you will stay on Fraser Island and Heron Island while you explore the Great Barrier Reef and its environs.
