The Prague Semester

Program Information

It’s the ultimate semester in Prague: full classroom integration with Czech, European, and international students; independent living in the heart of a vibrant capital city; and excursions that show you all the city and the region have to offer.

The Prague Semester lets you take unique courses, study at Anglo-American University, a private Czech university, and live in one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. You’ll come to understand why Prague is not only the cultural center of the country, but also the economic center of Central Europe.

Prague – Prague is considered to be one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals and is also among the oldest, home to such historic sites as Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge.

Small liberal arts program, distinctive private university – You'll have the unique opportunity to study alongside Czech, European, and other US students in a personal environment at Anglo-American University, the oldest private university in the Czech Republic.

General and cultural studies classes – We want you to get the most out of your time in Prague, so you’ll be able to take courses in Central European studies and the Czech language in addition to studying business, international relations, journalism, or the humanities.
