The Semester in Rome program takes place at the Pantheon Institute, whose windows open to the glorious exterior of the Pantheon. For almost 3 millennia the city has withstood natural disaster, internal strife, and multiple wars to emerge glorious and indomitable. Rome is unique with its rich history. Today it conveys a paradoxical blend of old and new, and enchants even the most stoic visitor.

Museums, monuments, and concerts galore – Spend a semester taking in everything you’ve read, seen, and dreamed about in history books: the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Cathedral, and the Pantheon.

A wide variety of courses – Semester in Rome offers a variety of exciting courses in architecture, art history, human development and family studies, Italian studies, nutrition, and more.

When in Rome, do as the Romans – We encourage you to immerse yourself in the culture, engage in the day-to-day life of the city, and do as much as possible to truly get a taste of the Roman way of life.
