Come to Australia to gain experience in your chosen career field, boost your résumé and international experience, and maximize your free time through a range of adventure and cultural activities.  This customized internship program allows interns to join the Aussie workforce at any time throughout the year in cities throughout Australia such as Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Cairns.  In each of these locations, Aussies welcome interns as a part of their professional team and interns can look forward to a dynamic work environment.

The pre-professional program allows interns to learn the fundamentals of working in a specialized field related to their undergraduate or graduate studies.  The experience goes much beyond getting a feel for the "nine to five" while paper-pushing or playing receptionist.  Practical placements are arranged with companies seeking both an intercultural exchange and an intern that can offer a fresh and unique perspective to the workplace.  Because of these qualities sought by the company, more likely is the intern to get an experience of a professional a couple years removed from college.

Australians practice the "work hard, play hard" mentality, and after a productive work day, Australia is the perfect place to enjoy your free time and connect with interesting people from all over Australia and the world.  Interns enjoy social gatherings organized with other interns and their respective company or organization.  Optional weekend excursions are also arranged and allow interns from all over the world to gather and experience the adventure that Australia offers.  Jump start your career and have a great time doing it!

Work hard at your internship and be exposed to opportunities you otherwise wouldn't get for a few years still, but save time to touch all the hot spots of your internship city and Australia as a whole: Bondi Beach, the Great Barrier Reef, the Outback and many, many more.

Interns can choose to live with an Australian family, or in a shared house or apartment with other interns. All accommodation can be reached through public transportation. Interns will be housed in a shared apartment or house unless a special request for a homestay is made known at the time of application. Accommodation is fully furnished with linens provided.

*Travel time to and from accommodation to internship varies from city to city, however participants may have a commute up to 1.5 hours, one way.
