Custom internships, short or long! The Intern in Florence program offers great placements ranging from 8 weeks to a full semester or longer, so you can go for just for the summer or really settle into this stunning city in the heart of Tuscany.

While interning in Florence, your internship will be tailored to your personal, academic, and professional goals. We’ll work with you one- on-one to find the perfect placement. Add 3 weeks of intensive Italian-language classes and the option of private tutoring, and you’ll find yourself loving your Firenze experience, and enjoying life in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

All the flexibility you need – Perhaps you want to intern for the full semester. Or maybe you are looking for a rewarding international experience over the summer. Either way, we can accommodate you! Our internships can be 8 weeks, a full semester, or anything in between.

A custom internship placement – We know you aren’t traveling to Italy to scoop gelato or service bicycles. Don’t worry. Our internships take into account your career goals, interests, and skills.

• Fill out the IEP Application and review information on the Apply page.
• Complete the IEP Pre-Placement Form
• Pay a $200 deposit to International Education Programs.
• Submit a professional cover letter and resume with IEP application
• If you wish to receive JU credit for Italian Language (at additional cost) please submit an official transcript
